Our Hearts Troubles Us at Times

Our hearts trouble us more than we like to admit. We smile, we keep moving, we do what needs doing — and meanwhile that inner world keeps tossing like a sea that won’t settle. But God isn’t intimidated by your trouble, and He doesn’t leave you guessing at what’s going on inside you. He has a beautiful, sometimes unexpected path for bringing calm and helping you discover what’s really in your heart, and that path can only come from Him. One way He loves to do this is through poetry.
